Overide Active respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Information we collect

  • Contact details: name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address.
  • Payment information: processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store full card details.
  • Order history: purchases, returns, and customer service interactions.
  • Account information: if you create an account, login details and preferences.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies.
  • Marketing preferences: whether you have opted in to emails, SMS, or promotions.

How we use your information

  • To process and fulfil your orders, including shipping and returns.
  • To communicate with you about your order, account, or customer service requests.
  • To send marketing communications via Klaviyo, where you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To run targeted advertising via Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram).
  • To improve our website, products, and customer experience.
  • To detect and prevent fraud.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel, to remember your preferences, understand site behaviour, and deliver relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. You can manage ad preferences directly through your Facebook ad settings, or control cookies through your browser settings.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run our store and marketing, specifically:

  • Shopify, our e-commerce platform, which processes orders, payments, and customer account data.
  • Klaviyo, our email and SMS marketing platform, used to send order updates and marketing communications if you have opted in.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram), used for advertising and audience targeting via the Meta Pixel.

We may also share information if required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

Shopify, Klaviyo, and Meta may store or process data outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.

Data security

We use industry-standard security measures, including those provided by Shopify's PCI-compliant infrastructure, to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

  • Request corrections to inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your information, subject to legal record-keeping requirements.
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time, via the unsubscribe link in any Klaviyo email or by contacting us.

Children's privacy

Our services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
